The Role:
Kick-start your career with Upstream Rehabilitation as a Growth and Development Team Assistant. In this role, you'll gain hands-on exposure to development operations while supporting the team behind our expansion and growth initiatives.You'll play a key role in keeping projects organized and moving forward, coordinating permitting activities, supporting reporting, and helping ensure new locations come to life efficiently. Your contributions will directly support our mission to deliver high-quality care and advance the communities we serve.
What You'll Do:
  • Track permits for development and expansion projects using established tools and systems.
  • Gather and organize required documentation for permit submissions, working closely with senior team members.
  • Monitor permit statuses through municipal portals, maintain accurate records, and escalate delays when needed.
  • Coordinate meetings for the Growth and Development team, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and materials.
  • Capture and distribute meeting notes, follow-ups, and action items.
  • Support recurring meetings related to development projects, site selection, and permitting updates.
  • Maintain and update reports on development pipeline status, permitting progress, and project milestones.
  • Ensure trackers, dashboards, and spreadsheets remain accurate and up to date.
  • Compile data into basic summaries or presentations to support team decision-making.
  • Keep digital project files organized and accessible.
  • Provide general administrative support and contribute to special projects, as needed.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in an administrative, coordination or support role (internship or relevant academic experience considered).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable and able to follow processes, manage routine responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
