Head of Growth Marketing - Agency Leader

Future Digital

Austin, TX • Remote

Full-time, Part-time

Posted 2 days ago

Job description

Location: Remote

Type: Part-Time to Full-Time

About Future

Future is a growth marketing partner for venture-backed consumer health, women’s health, and parenting brands. We partner with visionary founders and marketing leaders to design growth systems that drive acquisition, retention, and revenue.

Our next chapter is about building a top-tier growth team and cultivating the leaders who will shape how our agency grows in an AI-first environment.

The Role

We’re seeking a seasoned growth marketer with hands‑on experience driving measurable results across paid acquisition, lifecycle, and experimentation. This role is built for someone who thrives in execution today but has the ambition to evolve into an agency leader. You’ll work closely with the Founder and leadership team to drive client growth programs while building the internal systems, playbooks, and culture that will allow Future to scale.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to step into ownership—not just of channels, but of strategy, people, and the future direction of an agency.

What You’ll Do Lead Growth Strategy & Execution
  • Own and manage growth campaigns (paid social, search, lifecycle/CRM, content‑led growth)
  • Develop acquisition and retention strategies tied to business KPIs (CAC, LTV, payback, ROAS)
  • Build testing roadmaps and manage data‑driven optimization
  • Continuously assess, pilot, and operationalize emerging AI marketing tools across creative, media buying, lifecycle, and analytics—turning experiments into client wins and internal playbooks
Client Ownership & Growth Partnering
  • Serve as day‑to‑day client lead: diagnosing growth challenges, presenting strategies, aligning on execution
  • Translate performance data into actionable insights and business recommendations
  • Build trusted, long‑term relationships with founders and marketing leaders
Team Development & Agency Building
  • Collaborate with the Founder to establish scalable processes, playbooks, and systems
  • Mentor and manage junior team members; play an active role in recruiting and building the team
  • Help shape Future’s positioning, thought leadership, and agency identity
Who You Are
  • Experienced: 5–7 years in growth marketing, ideally in DTC, health/wellness, or consumer brands. Agency or startup experience a plus.
  • Hands‑On Operator: You set the strategy and roll up your sleeves to execute.
  • Analytical & Creative: Comfortable with performance data, equally strong in crafting creative hypotheses and messaging.
  • AI-Fluent & Curious: You actively test new AI tools, have a point of view on where they accelerate growth (and where they don’t), and bring that learning back to the team.
  • Leader in the Making: Natural ability to inspire and guide others, with a clear appetite to step into management.
  • Entrepreneurial: Resourceful and comfortable building systems in fast‑moving environments.
