Join Our Team as a Part Time, Remote Based, Recruitment Intern.
 

Are you interested in the Human Resources/Recruitment field and making a real difference in the nonprofit sector? EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 80,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a Recruitment Intern to join the HR department. This internship is designed for students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and are eligible to receive academic credit.

This is an excellent remote based opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit recruitment while contributing to meaningful community-focused work.

  • Wage: This is an unpaid internship 
  • Schedule: Up to 20 hours (Flexible)
  • Duration: 3 to 6 months (Flexible)
  • Location: Remote Based - Physical Office is located in Garden City, NY
  • Reports to:  Director of People and Culture

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Intern to support our Talent Acquisition team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit recruitment while contributing directly to hiring efforts that support life-changing community programs.

What are the key responsibilities:

  • Assist with sourcing and identifying candidates across job boards and professional networks
  • Screen resumes and support candidate shortlisting
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain applicant tracking systems
  • Communicate with candidates to ensure a positive and professional experience
  • Support job posting creation and employer branding initiatives
  • Assist with recruitment reporting and administrative tasks

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program
  • Must be eligible to receive academic credit for the internship
  • Preferred majors: Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Public Administration, or related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
