GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, a nationally recognized leader in Health Information Management (HIM) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), is seeking an Profee Coder - Internal Med (per diem). We are seeking coding professionals with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment for a W-2 position on a part time, remote basis.


Schedule & Availability:

  • Availability up to 15-20 hours per week requiredย 
  • Pay for this role is around $25.50/hr at production for edits and $26.16/hr at production for Coding.
  • Hours scheduled based on business needs (not guaranteed weekly)ย 
  • Coverage needs include planned PTO and fluctuating volumesย 
  • Opportunity to pick up additional "call-in" hours on a first-come, first-served basisย 
  • Must be available Monday-Friday between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM PSTย 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Profee Internal Medicine coding for outpatient/clinic encountersย 
  • Ensure accurate assignment of CPT, modifiers, and ICD-10 codesย 
  • Meet productivity and quality standardsย 
  • Work directly within the client's EMR system using automated case assignmentย 

Requirements

ย Qualifications:

  • Certifications Required (one of the following): CPC, CCS, or RHITย 
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of Profee Coding to include proficiencyย in Internal Medicine coding
  • Experience with EPIC (Single Pathway) strongly preferredย 
  • Must pass a Profee coding assessment with a score of 80% or higherย 
  • Ability to maintain required CPH (charts per hour) and accuracy standardsย 
  • US based

Productivity & Quality Expectations:

  • Coding: 12 encounters per hourย 
  • Edits: 15 encounters per hourย 

Additional Details:ย 

  • This is a backup support role for planned and unplanned coverage needsย 
  • Advance notice will be provided whenever possible for scheduled PTO coverageย 
  • Weekly volume needs are typically determined in advance, with additional daily opportunities availableย
