Nexus HR is looking for a part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to deliver high-quality behavioral health services via a secure telehealth platform.

About the Job

The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) will provide high-quality, accessible behavioral health services to underserved and underinsured communities. Sliding Scale Awareness: We serve a diverse population with varied financial circumstances, including patients who receive services through a Sliding Fee Scale. Candidate must be comfortable practicing within an equitable care model that prioritizes high-quality, patient-centered services regardless of an individual's ability to pay the full fee.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed care tailored to the unique challenges of underserved communities.

  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and individualized treatment planning.

  • Manage and maintain an active caseload with timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.

  • Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations, specifically maintaining ethical standards for patients receiving sliding-scale assistance.

  • Document all patient interactions accurately within the IMS electronic medical record system.

  • Deliver individual psychotherapy services through a secure telehealth platform

  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams to support integrated treatment approaches

  • Ensure full compliance with all state, federal, organizational, and regulatory requirements

  • Practice in accordance with ethical standards and evidence-based best practices for virtual care

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Georgia license as: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Board-certified and in good standing with the State of Georgia

  • Compassionate Professionalism: A demonstrated commitment to working with underserved, underinsured, and marginalized populations.

  • Financial Sensitivity: An understanding and supportive attitude toward non-profit fee structures, including sliding fee scales and community-based care models.

  • Strong clinical communication and documentation skills.

  • Comfort operating in a virtual care environment using HIPAA-compliant platforms.
