Job description

Do you enjoy starting conversation, creating opportunities, and turning conversations into long-term business relationships? Are you energized by connecting with decision makers, uncovering business challenges, and helping companies improve how they operate?

Nomad eCommerce is hiring a part-time, fully remote Business Development Representative (BDR) / Inside Sales Representative to help accelerate our next phase of growth. In this role, you'll be responsible for generating qualified opportunities, building pipelines, and introducing manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers to an ecommerce platform built specifically for complex B2B operations. This position includes commission / incentive earning potential tied to results.

This is more than a lead generation role. You'll help shape our outbound growth strategy, influence revenue generation, and serve as the first impression many future customers have of Nomad eCommerce. If you are competitive, organized, consultative, and excited by the idea of building something meaningful, we'd love to meet you.

This role offers the flexibility of part-time remote work today, with the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity for the right candidate based on performance, business needs, and long-term success.

What You'll Do

  • Research, identify, and engage prospective clients including IT leaders, operations managers, purchasing teams, and executive decision makers
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, networking, and targeted calling efforts
  • Build authentic relationships that position Nomad eCommerce as a trusted long-term partner rather than a one-time vendor
  • Qualify leads by understanding business processes, pain points, technical needs, and growth goals
  • Schedule discovery meetings and product conversations for leadership or senior sales team members
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline focused on mid-size manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers
  • Collaborate closely with leadership, project management, and operations teams to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, outreach activity, follow-up tasks, and pipeline notes
  • Consistently follow up with prospects while providing a professional, consultative buying experience
  • Learn Nomad eCommerce's platform, integrations, and value proposition well enough to confidently speak to prospects

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent generation of qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities
  • Strong follow-up discipline and organized outreach cadence
  • Positive prospect feedback and professional communication
  • High conversion from lead to discovery meeting
  • Clean CRM data and strong pipeline visibility
  • Contribution to long-term revenue growth

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, lead generation, or B2B sales
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Natural relationship-builder with strong listening skills
  • Comfortable engaging with decision makers and navigating gatekeepers
  • Experience with consultative, solution-based, or software sales preferred
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Persistent, professional, and resilient when following up with prospects
  • Comfortable learning new industries, products, and business processes

Why Join Nomad eCommerce

At Nomad eCommerce, you won't be one of hundreds on a sales floor. You'll have real ownership, visibility, and the chance to directly impact growth. Our platform helps real businesses solve real operational problems-and your work will help bring those solutions to market.

You'll join a remote team that values initiative, accountability, and people who know how to create momentum.
