Job description

Reports to:                      Manager of Mental Health Services 

Employment:                   Salaried, Exempt, 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) 

Schedule:                        Monday – Friday; during Quest open working hours 

Location:                          Quest Center – Multnomah. Remote work may be available and is at the  discretion of      management                                                                                   

ABOUT THE POSITION: 

Quest Center QMHPs are an integral part of our behavioral health services providing counseling services to assist individuals, couples, and/or groups in achieving more effective personal development and adjustment. This position adheres to laws regarding confidentiality and reporting requirements; and provides crisis intervention and/or conflict resolution. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, provide diagnostic conceptualization, and develop client assisted service plans.   

  • Group development, implementation, and facilitation 

  • Provide individual counseling sessions. 

  • Provide case management services as needed. 

  • Coordinate services with and among interdisciplinary teams/providers and assist with referrals, as needed.  

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation. 

  • Work with the program manager to enhance the mental health program, including supporting the development and implementation of new programming, new groups, and therapeutic approaches. 

  • Regularly attend integrative and interdisciplinary meetings and consultation groups within and outside of mental health. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned/needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS& REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Experience, knowledge and skills in working with LGBTQIA2S+, substance recovery, and HIV+ communities 

  • Knowledge and skills in working with trauma, and neurodersity. 

  • Experience working with chronic health conditions and crisis support. 

  • Experience working with socioeconomically diverse communities. 

  • Experience and skills in navigating telehealth technology and electronic health record systems 

  • Experience with group facilitation.  

  • Ability to work integratively, within a collective, and independently.  

  • Ability to manage time, maintain timely documentation completion, and meet deadlines. 

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Completed Graduate degree in Psychology; or 

  • Completed Graduate degree in clinical Social Work; or 

  • Completed Graduate degree in another professional mental health counseling;  

  • Pursuing or willing to pursue professional licensure in the State of Oregon if not already licensed
