JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Geography in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking an Undergraduate Research Assistant. The URA position will be anywhere from 10-20 hours/week, and we can accommodate fewer work hours during the school year, and then a part-time (20 hours/week) position during the summer months.
Job duties for the successful candidate will include the following:
• Assist with survey data entry and quality control (surveys are in Spanish).
• Transcribe interview audio data to text (audio and text files are in Spanish).
• Conduct data analysis, which will include qualitative thematic coding.
• Other administrative tasks as assigned/needed to support project goals.
Native or advanced fluency in Spanish and experience with Microsoft Office is highly desired.
