Job description

Primary Care Physician (Telehealth) - Alexandria, VARequirements:

• Daily job is a remote task and requires an active and clear medical license for multiple states.
• Part-time commitment of 20 hours Monday through Sunday, between the possible hours of 7 AM to 9 PM. Some weekends required.
• Clean background and medical malpractice history.
• Telemedicine experience is preferred but not required.
• Should be tech-savvy, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and a multi-tasker.
• Position is contractual/full time/ Part time.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Provide synchronous and asynchronous comprehensive clinical care that encompasses primary care.
• Manage patient follow-ups.
• Educate patients on appropriate treatments and care plans for their health needs.
• Prescribe medication and refills as appropriate.
• Think on your feet to devise creative solutions to problems that arise or escalate as appropriate.
• Elevate remote care; provide compassionate and meaningful care.
• Dress professionally and be in a private setting.

Education/Board Certification/Licensure:

• MD or DO.
• Board-Certified for multiple states (up to 10), License with IL will not be considered.
• Clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or Primary Care is preferred.
• Graduation from a US medical school or foreign medical school with Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency professional experience. Pediatrics is a plus!
• Medical license in good standing.
• Pharmacy license in good standing.

Hours:

• Minimum commitment of 20 hours per month.
• Some weekends required.

Compensation:

• $25 per virtual consultation (5–10-minute average consult visit).

Malpractice Insurance:

• Malpractice insurance is covered for those who can provide a minimum commitment of 20 hours per month.

EHR:

• Customized user-friendly proprietary platform.
• Electronic prescribing feature embedded.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
