Community Coordinator (Remote)

Marketing Leaders Network

Toronto, ON โ€ข Remote

$20 - $30/hr

Part-time, Contractor

This job post hasย expired today.ย Applications are no longer accepted.

Job description

Community Coordinator (Part-Time, Independent Contractor)
Marketing Leaders Network, operated by Veryn
Fully remote 15-20 hrs/week Start date: mid-August 2026

Marketing Leaders Network is an application-only peer community for senior B2B enterprise marketing leaders, think Directors, VPs, and CMOs navigating high-stakes decisions at large organizations. We run curated events, peer roundtables, and 1:1 programming designed to help marketing leaders go further, together. MLN is powered by Veryn Corporation.

We're hiring a part-time Community Coordinator to be the human engine behind our member experience.

This role is engagement-heavy and concierge in nature. You'll be the steady, warm presence that makes every member feel genuinely welcomed and connected, and the operational backbone that keeps events, outreach, and community activity running smoothly. You'll work closely with the Community Lead.

What you'll do

  • Own new member onboarding: research each member's background, draft personalized welcome emails, and run a thoughtful follow-up sequence that gets them active and connected
  • Be the day-to-day presence in the community: monitor posts, comment meaningfully, tag relevant members, and keep conversations moving
  • Drive event operations end to end: upload events, send targeted outreach to relevant members, prepare recap content, follow up with attendees, and log feedback
  • Send weekly reactivation outreach to lapsed members, personalized not templated
  • Post weekly community prompts and digests that surface the best of what's happening in the space
  • Edit and upload session recordings (light trimming in your preferred video editing tool, within 48 hours of each event)
  • Keep tracking spreadsheets current so activation, attendance, and outreach data is always up to date
  • Support with special projects as capacity allows and upon agreement with the community lead

What success looks like

Members feel genuinely welcomed from day one. Events run smoothly and attendance grows. Outreach is timely, personal, and moves people to action. Community operations stay organized and nothing falls through the cracks. We have KPI's for 30-day activation rates, event RSVPs & attendance and MAU.

You're a great fit if you

  • Write with warmth, specificity, and good judgment. You know the difference between a personal email and a mail merge, and it shows in your work
  • Are genuinely comfortable interfacing with a senior professional audience and can meet them at their level without being stiff or overly formal
  • Are organized, responsive, and take ownership without needing to be chased
  • Pick up new tools quickly. You'll be working in Circle, Canva, and Google Sheets
  • Care about people and have a natural instinct for making someone feel seen

Strong Assets

  • Experience managing or coordinating an online community
  • Familiarity with community platforms like Circle
  • Background in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Experience writing personalized outreach at volume without losing the human touch

Application Process

We appreciate the time you take to apply and are excited that you're interested in joining us. While we review every application, due to the volume we receive, we're only able to contact candidates selected to move forward.
