Part Time Reiki Jobs in Nebraska (NOW HIRING)

Part Time Reiki information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time Reiki practitioner, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Reiki Practitioner, you need a solid understanding of Reiki principles, energy healing techniques, and completion of at least a Reiki Level 2 certification. Familiarity with client intake forms, appointment scheduling systems, and basic recordkeeping tools is typically necessary. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to create a calming environment help build trust and rapport with clients. These skills ensure safe, effective sessions and foster client well-being and satisfaction.

Are part time Reiki healers in demand?

Part time Reiki healers are in moderate demand, especially as alternative and holistic health practices gain popularity. Success often depends on certification, experience, and building a client base through local networks or online platforms.

What is the difference between Part Time Reiki vs Part Time Massage Therapist?

CertificationsReiki certification (Level I, II, or Master)Massage therapy license or certification
Work EnvironmentHealing centers, wellness clinics, private practiceSpas, wellness centers, private clinics
Industry UsageHolistic healing, alternative medicinePhysical therapy, relaxation, therapeutic massage

Part Time Reiki and Part Time Massage Therapist roles both focus on wellness and healing but differ in certification requirements and work settings. Reiki emphasizes energy healing through specific certifications, while massage therapy involves physical manipulation and requires licensing. Both roles are popular in wellness industries, but they serve different client needs and use different techniques.

What are some common challenges faced by part time Reiki practitioners, and how can they be managed?

Part-time Reiki practitioners often face challenges such as building a steady client base, balancing Reiki sessions with other work commitments, and maintaining consistent self-care to avoid burnout. To manage these, practitioners can focus on effective time management, network within wellness communities, and utilize online platforms for client outreach. Additionally, setting clear boundaries and maintaining a regular personal Reiki practice can help sustain energy and enthusiasm for the work.

What is a part time Reiki practitioner?

Part Time Reiki practitioners are individuals trained in Reiki, a form of energy healing, who work on a part-time basis rather than as their full-time occupation. They typically offer Reiki sessions to clients to help promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support overall well-being. Part-time practitioners may work independently, in wellness centers, or as part of a larger holistic health practice, often scheduling appointments around other work or personal commitments. Their responsibilities include conducting Reiki sessions, maintaining client records, and sometimes educating clients about Reiki techniques and benefits.

You want to open peoples' eyes to the true healing power of a great massage. You're looking for an employer to take care of you the way you take care of your clients. As a Massage Therapist, you are the backbone of the industry
If this describes you, then you may be an excellent fit to work for a team dedicated to showing our culture instead of explaining it. At Hand & Stone Omaha, you can focus on doing what you love (transforming lives through massage and healing) while we focus on taking care of you! We would not be where we are without our talented Massage Therapists. Whether a guest comes in for pain relief or just needs a day to relax, we want everyone to leave our Spa feeling refreshed and revitalized.
Pay Range: Up to $70,000 per year (base service commission, upgrade commission, 100% of tips, and bonuses available).
What We Offer You:
  • Flexible Schedule - We welcome new graduates and seasoned massage therapists already working in the industry.
  • Variable Pay Model - Our compensation system allows you to earn a competitive base commission for every service, while also building your own earning potential through a menu of specialty modalities, upgrades, and add-on services. You determine your own pay during every service. We also have a very high rate of generously tipping clients and pass along 100% of tips to our therapists.
  • Career Development - Professional training, development, and continuing education opportunities. You will receive 12 CEU credits just for completing new employee onboarding and training.
  • Professional and Safe Work Environment - We make sure you are safe and satisfied. Your work environment is always a priority.
  • All Supplies Provided - Your positive attitude combined with our facility and supplies is a winning combination!
  • Employee Discounts and Free Services - Who doesn't love a good discount on great products, services, and gift cards?
  • Employee Referral Bonus - Get paid for sharing your great experiences at Hand and Stone with your Therapist friends!

What You'll Be Working On:
As a member of our Massage Therapy team, you are on the front lines healing and helping our clients. We deal with clients of all backgrounds, needs, and demographics and your ability to design and deliver a customized treatment plan for each and every guest is critical. In a typical day, you can expect to:
  • Design specific treatment plans based on client's individual needs.
  • Create an excellent experience for members/guests through a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Generate new clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.
  • Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.

Please come join us if you:
  • Have a passion for healing, helping, and taking care of clients.
  • Have an active Nebraska Massage license.
  • Have prior knowledge/experience of Swedish massage.
  • Have great communication skills and connect well with staff and clients
  • Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required. Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members!
  • Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.

Interested and qualified candidates should apply and attach a resume, and great matches will be immediately contacted for a two to three interview hiring process with the spa owners.
