Part-time agents help clients buy, sell, or rent properties but may handle fewer transactions than full-time agents. This role is ideal for those looking to earn extra income or transition into a full-time real estate career. Licensing requirements vary by state, so it's important to check local regulations. Success often depends on networking, market knowledge, and time management skills.

What does a typical work week look like for someone in a part time real estate position?

A typical week for a part-time real estate professional often includes a mix of client meetings, property showings, following up on leads, and handling paperwork for active transactions, usually scheduled around your availability and clients’ needs. The workload can fluctuate depending on the season and local market activity, making flexibility and organization essential. Part-time agents may work independently or as part of a brokerage team, attending team meetings or training sessions as needed. This structure allows you to build your real estate career while balancing other personal or professional commitments.
