Dental assistant

Provide high-quality chairside assistance to the dentist during a variety of general dentistry procedures, including crown and bridge restorations and implant placements.
Prepare treatment rooms efficiently and ensure all necessary instruments and materials are ready for procedures.
Take and process digital dental X-rays and intraoral photos accurately.
Manage and process digital impressions.
Accurately document patient care, treatment plans, and clinical notes.
Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols in compliance with all standards.
Educate and communicate with patients regarding treatment, post-operative instructions, and oral hygiene practices to ensure patient comfort and understanding.

Part-time $24 - $28 per hour

Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: Closed
Weekends: Closed

Current registration or certification as a Dental Assistant (DA or RDA) or equivalent experience required by Michigan state law.
Demonstrated ability to take digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
Excellent chairside assisting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for patient comfort and care.
High level of energy, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with specific procedures, including crown prepping and implant assistance.
Proficiency in digital impression technology.
Familiarity with MacPractice dental software.
Prior experience in a high-volume general dentistry practice.
