We're currently looking for a Specialty Dental Assistant to join our Castle Dental team in the Nashville market. This is a part-time position, traveling throughout the market supporting our Periodontist. An ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working across multiple teams and office environments.
Schedule (days/hours)
2-3 days every other week, 8am - 5pm
Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort
  • Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
  • Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms following infection control protocols
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update charts

Qualifications
  • Meet the state-specific Registered Dental Assistant credentialing requirements
  • Dental Radiology Certification (X-Ray)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
  • Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
