Job description

Discovery Therapy, a company that truly cares for our family of therapists, is seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our Early Intervention team!
In-person cases available throughout Philadelphia County!
Services are provided to children with a variety of developmental, behavioral, and learning needs in preschool, daycare, and home-based settings.
We have full-time, part-time, and contract/per-diem positions available.
1099 Contractor Position
Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 6:30PM

Position Overview:
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will work directly with children on a one-on-one (1:1) basis to support behavioral, social, communication, and developmental goals. Most children receive services for approximately 3-7 hours per day.
The RBT will implement behavior intervention strategies and support the child's success in preschool, daycare, or home environments.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide one-on-one (1:1) support to children
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Support children with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, and learning disabilities
  • Collect and document data on client progress
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, therapists, and supervisors
  • Assist children in achieving individualized goals
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with BACB guidelines

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of the Initial 40-Hour RBT Training
• Passed the Initial RBT Competency Assessment
• Application submitted to the BACB and successful completion of the RBT Examination
• Active RBT Certification (no pending, inactive, or expired status)
• Minimum of 2 years of RBT experience
• Continuous supervision by a BACB-certified supervisor in accordance with BACB guidelines
• CPR and First Aid Certifications required
• Experience working with IEPs and/or in a preschool setting
• Experience supporting children with behavioral challenges and developmental needs preferred
