Job description

Are you a psychology major but not sure what you want to do with your degree?

Are you an education major not sure if classroom teaching is the direction you want to go?

If you answer YES to any of the questions above you may want to consider beginning your career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) working in our center and home based ABA programs.


This position consists of providing play and instructional methods to children diagnosed with autism. In this position you will be trained to provide language, social, and behavioral support and create a lasting and meaningful impact on the lives of children you work with.


Title: Part-Time RBT

Reports To: BCBA

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Provide direct instructional services ( play) to clients by implementing the recommendations, teaching procedures determined by each of the client’s assessment under the direct supervision of the BCBA. Responsible for instruction and safety of children as well as related clerical duties (i.e. graphing, material organization)


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out the treatment and behavior plans based on assessments.
  • Receive ongoing supervision and implement feedback and recommendations.
  • Teach clients ( children) appropriate skills and manage challenging behaviors.
  • Participate in the development of treatment and individual plans in coordination with BCBA

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO PROVIDING SERVICES

• College Age-working towards Bachelor’s Degree

• CPR/BLS Certification preferred.

• Must have a reliable mode of transportation

• Must be willing to work two afternoons per week from 3:00-6:00pm
