ABC Group Hawaii is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)! Join our growing team and make a lasting impact on the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As an RBT, you'll engage in play-based learning, implement behavioral therapy, and help clients build meaningful skillsone-on-one, and hands-on.

Don't have your RBT credential yet?
We offer in-house RBT training classes and provide all necessary on-the-job training. No previous childcare or behavioral experience required!

Job description and responsibilities:
  • Work directly with children diagnosed with ASD and other developmental disabilities.
  • Implement personalized care plans and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to foster independence.
  • Accurately collect data and maintain documentation in line with HIPAA standards.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can thrive.
This Job Is a Great Fit If You:
  • Can run, lift up to 50 lbs., move quickly, and actively engage with children throughout the day, including running, sitting on the floor, kneeling, and frequent movement. This role requires a high level of physical activity and sustained mobility.
  • Are 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Can commit to working with ABC Group for at least one year.
  • Are available Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM 5:00 PM (minimum), 8:30 AM 5:00 PM availability is preferred.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Can pass all required background checks.
  • Are adaptable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and grow.
What We Offer:
  • Starting pay at $21/hour for new RBTs with an increase to $22/hour after 6 months, with advancement up to $29/hour through performance-based promotions.
  • Hybrid, in-house RBT certification course provided at no cost, led by our Directors of Clinical Services.
    (Comparable RBT courses can cost around $1,400, but ABC Group offers this training free to accepted applicants!)
