Job description

Position Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Autism Therapist.
Location: Irving, TX.
Job Type: Part-time.
Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour.
Start Dates: July, 2026
Work Location: In-person, center-based.
Overview:
Are you passionate about working with children and making a meaningful impact? We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or those working toward certification to join our team at our Irving, TX therapy center. In this entry-level, part-time role, you’ll provide individualized therapy to children with Autism and other developmental disabilities using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). No prior experience or certification is required to start; we will provide all training and support towards completing your certification at no cost to you. Perfect part-time schedules for students!

  • Center-Based Work Only - No driving across town. Work exclusively at our Irving location.
  • Set Weekly Hours:
    • 20-30 hours weekly. We are looking to fill the following shifts: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM OR Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM OR Monday- Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under supervision.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • RBT or ABAT certification preferred, but not required-we will help you get certified.
  • Prior experience with children and/or individuals with Autism is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically active (e.g., kneel, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, as well as move quickly).
  •  Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, willingness to learn new skills, and openness to constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrated patience, professionalism, and the ability to support children who may present with significant behavioral, communication, daily living, and social skill needs.

Certification Pathways:
ABAT Eligibility (Accredited by QABA):
  • Minimum age: 18.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 40 hours of approved training (including 3 hours of Ethics and 5 hours of Autism Core Knowledge) - at no cost to you.
  • 15 hours of supervised fieldwork - provided by us.
  • Supervisor recommendation - provided by us.
  • Background check and exam.
  • Agreement to QABA ethics and renewal every 2 years.
RBT Eligibility (Accredited by BACB):
  • Minimum age: 18.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 40 hours of BACB-approved training - at no cost to you.
  • Background check, competency assessment, and RBT exam.
  • Renewal every 2 years and 12 Professional Development Hours (PDU).
