Sunshine Advantage is looking for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who want to help kids and make a difference.

In this role, you’ll work one-on-one with a child, helping them learn everyday skills like communicating, playing, and following routines. You’ll always have support from a supervisor (BCBA), so you’re never doing this alone.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide one-on-one support to children in their home or community
  • Follow a clear treatment plan created by your supervisor (BCBA)
  • Help teach communication, social, and everyday life skills
  • Track progress during each session
  • Follow behavior plans and learning programs
  • Communicate with your supervisor, team, and families
  • Support caregivers when appropriate
  • Complete session notes and required documentation
  • Attend trainings and team meetings

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to obtain the RBT Certification within 90 days of hire. (active certification with the BACB)
  • Willing to complete the 40-hour RBT course within 30 days of hire. (from a BACB-approved training provider)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Obtain or possess updated CPR certification and maintain re-certification every two years

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
