RETAIL CASHIER - PART TIME - RAPID CITY

Location: Rapid City, SD
Pay Range: $15–$18 per hour (based on experience)

Trav’s Outfitter is looking for a positive, detail-focused Part-Time Retail Cashier to join our team in Rapid City. If you enjoy helping people, work well under pressure, and take pride in doing things right the first time—this could be the perfect role for you!

Our cashiers are the heartbeat of the front-end experience. You’ll greet customers, process transactions accurately, and represent Trav’s values of excellence, compassion, and enriching lives.


What You’ll DoCashiering amp; Customer Service
  • Greet and assist customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude

  • Accurately operate the POS system to process all forms of payment

  • Handle returns and exchanges according to store policy

  • Ensure transactions are processed with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Follow all procedures for cash handling and drawer reconciliation

️ Store Support
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and welcoming checkout area

  • Help restock bags, gift cards, and register supplies as needed

  • Assist with light merchandising and support the sales floor team

  • Step in where needed to keep things running smoothly


What You Bring
  • Great communication and customer service skills

  • Prior cash handling or retail experience is helpful but not required

  • Dependable and detail-oriented mindset

  • Comfortable using basic POS and register systems

  • Able to work a flexible schedule (evenings and weekends preferred)
