Job Summary:
T3i builds mission-critical unmanned systems designed to improve U.S. forces' operational effectiveness and battlefield lethality. Our Blackfoot platform is a tactical FPV drone system engineered for reliability, adaptability, survivability, and rapid deployment in demanding operational environments. We are a small, fast-moving team that values ownership, execution, and mission focus - operating in tight feedback loops between design, build, test, and field employment. We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support T3i’s Blackfoot UAS manufacturing. This role is responsible for all logistics, shipping, and receiving functions, as well as maintaining accurate accountability and inventory records for production materials, consumables, and capital equipment and systems used in the manufacturing process.
Position Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator owns the full logistics function within the Blackfoot manufacturing facility - from sourcing and placing orders for required parts and supplies, to managing inbound shipments and receiving operations, to tracking materials throughout production cycles, to maintaining accountability records for capital equipment and systems, to ensuring finished systems are shipped accurately and on time to the right customer. This role interfaces directly with suppliers, vendors, and freight carriers to procure, expedite, and deliver. The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning logistics end-to-end in a fast-paced defense hardware environment where material availability directly affects production output.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work on site daily and manage all inbound and outbound shipments, including freight coordination, carrier scheduling, and shipping documentation
- Execute receiving operations: inspect incoming materials, verify against purchase orders, and route parts to appropriate storage or production staging locations
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all production materials, consumables, and spare parts throughout production cycles - including on-hand, in-transit, and on-order quantities
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories; identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accountability records for permanent equipment and systems used in the manufacturing process, including asset tracking and location records
- Coordinate with external suppliers, vendors, and freight carriers to expedite orders, resolve delivery issues, and support production schedule requirements
- Support the Operations Manager with material availability visibility and flag shortages or lead time risks that could impact build schedules
- Manage organization and cleanliness of materials storage areas to support efficient production access
- Process purchase order receipts and support procurement documentation workflows
- Ensure shipping and receiving records for ITAR-controlled and export-regulated components comply with applicable regulatory requirements
- Support outbound shipment of finished systems and field support kits to customer sites, test ranges, and demonstrations
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years managing logistics activities including procurement, shipping/receiving, and inventory control
- Demonstrated experience managing both inbound and outbound logistics, including carrier and supplier coordination
- Strong inventory management skills with experience maintaining accurate records across active production cycles
- Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, or defense hardware environment
- Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems and standard office tools (Excel/Google Sheets)
- Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing and materials storage environment, including receiving, moving, and staging materials
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage competing priorities without losing accuracy
- U.S. Person status required to support ITAR-controlled programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience handling ITAR-controlled or export-regulated materials and associated documentation requirements
- Experience supporting defense, government, or cleared manufacturing environments
- Prior military logistics background strongly preferred
- Experience with asset accountability systems or property book management, including Unanet AIM
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- APICS CPIM or similar logistics/supply chain certification
- Active or prior security clearance
Type of Employment: Part-Time, with potential to transition to Full-Time later this year
Travel: lt;10%; occasional support for field exercises or customer deliveries as required
Compensation: Part-Time: $36-$48/hr; Full-Time equivalent: $75,000-$100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
Clearance Requirements: Secret security clearance, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire

T3i Drug Free Workplace Statement:
