Education / Training
• High school diploma/GED;
• Understanding and knowledge of conventional industry tool names;
• General knowledge of proper and safe tool usage;
• General computer literacy, including Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Notepad;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with colleagues and Production Team
members;
• Ability to effectively present information to team members, management, customers.
Key Job Elements
• Issues and ensures accountability of tools;
• Ensure Tool Crib is organized and inventoried;
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools as required;
• Help production locate the correct tool for the task they are performing;
• Understand how to find the correct wire crimping information;
• Utilize the Grainger system to check tools in and out from the crib;
• Be willing to train and/or direct co-workers on safe operation of equipment or tools that are being
checked out of the tool crib;
• Issuing of items from the crib to be used by production on permanent basis;
• Ordering consumables to maintain the minimum inventory quantity;
• follow safety policies and practices at all times;
• Other duties as required to maintain production target objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
