Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and highly organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join our busy office. This position has the potential to grow into a full-time role as the needs of the company increase.

The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience, strong attention to detail, and working knowledge of QuickBooks. This person will provide general office support, assist with accounting and payroll-related duties, and serve as a professional first point of contact for customers, vendors, and employees.

Responsibilities
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls

  • Greet visitors and provide professional customer service

  • Enter and maintain accurate information in QuickBooks

  • Assist with payroll-related data entry and recordkeeping

  • Generate and review accounts payable reports

  • Assist with processing and tracking vendor bills

  • Maintain and update employee, customer, and vendor records

  • Track documents, licenses, insurance certificates, and expiration dates

  • Organize electronic and paper files

  • Perform general data entry and administrative duties

  • Assist the office manager and company owner with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications
  • Previous administrative, receptionist, or office experience

  • QuickBooks experience is preferred

  • Strong data-entry and computer skills
