Job Title :- Psych Nurse Practitioner (Part time)
Location :- Dayton, OH 45417
Contract :- 3+ Months with possible extension
Job Description :
• Provide direct psychiatric and mental health care in person or via telehealth as needed
• Conduct mental health and psychopharmacological assessments
• Formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with formulary guidelines
• Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory tests and reports
• Perform evaluations to determine the need for medication
• Provide care for patients in crisis situations when necessary
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure integrated patient care
• Document all clinical encounters and medication management in accordance with applicable policies and protocols
• Participate in treatment team meetings and care planning
• Provide clinical supervision and consultation to nursing and mental health staff
• Receive regular supervision from a collaborating physician
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities
• Maintain clinical competency and compliance with standards
Qualifications
• Active Ohio NP License
• BLS/CPR
