The Registered Nurse (RN) is at the core of our world class patient care team. • Administers medications and executes regimens as authorized by the state licensure.

• Navigates, plans patient care, and documents ongoing status, interventions, patient responses and outcomes in accurate, timely manner in the electronic health record.

• Rounds with providers.

• Practices bedside report/hand-offs.

• Ensures meaningful hourly rounding occurs.

• Escalates concerns utilizing appropriate chain of command to maintain safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• The RN in Michigan must complete twenty-five hours of continuing education, with at least two hours in pain and symptom management during the two-year period prior to the renewal of the license.
