THE OPPORTUNITY

Under the direction of the Inventory Supervisor, this role supports the Inventory team by locating and retrieving garments in the warehouse, pulling orders, cycle counting, pad printing, and delivering garments to production as needed. This position is located at Lakeshirts headquarters in Detroit Lakes, MN.

This is active, hands-on warehouse work for someone who likes to stay moving, count accurately, keep things organized, and support production teams. You will help make sure the right garments get to the right place at the right time so orders keep moving smoothly.

PAY + SCHEDULE

Location: Detroit Lakes, MN. This is a part-time, onsite role at headquarters.

Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00PM - 9:00PM

Weekend Shift: Saturday-Sunday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour, based on shift.

Growth: This role can build skills in warehouse order picking, inventory accuracy, garment pulling, cycle counting, pad printing, production support, and warehouse organization. Advancement opportunities vary by department and business need.

A TYPICAL DAY

  • Pull garment orders accurately for production teams using order information and warehouse locations.
  • Verify correct garment, color, and size by weighing, counting, and checking pulled product.
  • Pad print garments and support cycle counts to help maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain clear aisles, clean work areas, and organized racks throughout the warehouse.
  • Follow 6S standards: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety.
  • Use communication devices to deliver needed garments to production on a rotating schedule.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, special projects, and other inventory duties as assigned.

SKILLS

  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and comfortable reading order forms and counting efficiently.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.
  • Self-directed, self-motivated, reliable, and ready to keep moving.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word helpful.
  • Able to be on your feet for 8 to 10 hours per day.
  • Able to lift and move 30-50 lbs. throughout the shift.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

CONTINUOUSLY: Stand, walk, reach, pull garments, lift and carry materials under 10 lbs., and reach at or below shoulder height while working in the warehouse.

FREQUENTLY: Lift, carry, pull, bend, twist, and move materials weighing 10-50 lbs. while pulling, organizing, loading, and delivering garments.

OCCASIONALLY: Push and move materials weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance or appropriate equipment when available.

NEVER: Climb or crawl as an essential function of the role.
