Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour DOE

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Schedule: Patrol shifts may include nights, weekends, holidays, and flexible coverage based on operational needs.

Job Description

Precision Private Security is hiring professional and dependable Mobile Patrol Officers to join our Patrol Division in the Yuba City area.

Mobile Patrol Officers are one of the most visible parts of our company. This position requires strong judgment, professionalism, independence, attention to detail, and the ability to represent Precision Private Security with confidence while working in the field.

This is not a passive security post. Patrol Officers are responsible for conducting mobile patrols, responding to alarms, checking client properties, completing lock-ups, documenting activity, and maintaining a visible security presence throughout assigned routes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct mobile patrols of commercial, residential, government, and private client properties.
  • Perform scheduled and random site checks.
  • Complete lockups, unlocks, alarm responses, and security inspections.
  • Check doors, gates, parking lots, access points, exterior areas, and property conditions.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, trespassing, vandalism, theft, hazards, and property damage.
  • Provide highvisibility deterrence and professional client service.
  • Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, clients, and emergency responders when needed.
  • Complete accurate digital Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports.
  • Follow assigned patrol routes, post orders, and company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean uniform, professional appearance, and patrol vehicle standards.
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old for mobile patrol driving eligibility.
  • Must have a valid California BSIS Guard Card in good standing.
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license.
  • Must have a clean or reviewable Motor Vehicle Record and meet company insurance requirements.
  • Must provide copies of required training certificates with application or during screening.
  • Must have completed BSISrequired training, including Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force.
  • Must have completed or be able to provide documentation of the required 32 hours of BSISmandated security officer training.
  • Must be able to pass background screening consistent with California law.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple patrol stops during a shift.
  • Must be able to write clear, accurate, and professional reports.
  • Must be able to use a company phone, digital reporting system, GPS/patrol system, and dispatch communication tools.
  • Must be reliable, alert, professional, and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior mobile patrol, alarm response, field response, or security driving experience.
  • Current BSIS Baton Permit.
  • OC spray, taser, firearm, handcuffing, CPR/First Aid, or other securityrelated certifications.
  • Experience using digital reporting platforms such as THERMS, Silvertrac, Trackforce, or similar systems.
  • Strong reportwriting skills.
  • Deescalation or conflictresolution experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Strong attendance history and professional appearance.
  • Required DocumentationApplicants should be prepared to provide:
  • Current BSIS Guard Card.
  • Power to Arrest certificate.
  • Appropriate Use of Force certificate.
  • Certificates verifying completion of required BSIS training.
  • Certificates verifying completion of the required 32 hours of BSISmandated security officer training.

  • Valid California driver’s license.
