Optometrist โ€“ PT/FT โ€“ Private practice โ€“  Alamosa, CO- No Weekends!

About Our Practice:

We are a private primary care practice that values flexibility, innovation, and a patient-centered approach. Enjoy the freedom to set your own schedule, working 2-5 days per week in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Our practice offers:

  • Full tech support and a diverse patient population, from infants to seniors.
  • A manageable caseload of 15-20 patients per day in a friendly office equipped with an optical and finishing lab.
  • State-of-the-art technology, including Revolution EHR, Auto A/R, Harvest Acuity System, Maestro 2 OCT, and Virtual VF.
  • An upgraded lane with cutting-edge digital equipment in progress.

Opportunities abound for professionals with special interests in dry eye management, scleral lens fitting, low vision, or vision therapy.

Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Your regular duties will include:

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams
  • Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
  • Prescribe corrective lenses
  • Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
  • Handle eyecare emergencies

Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree (or pending) 
  • Valid state license to practice optometry (or pending)
  • A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
  • Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
