Looking for an opportunity where you can build meaningful patient relationships and make a lasting impact every day? Blue Stone Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team at Dunlap Specialty Care in Dunlap, IA.


Working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team, you'll provide individualized occupational therapy services that help adult and geriatric patients regain independence, improve function, and enhance their quality of life in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
  • Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, strength, and functional tasks
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment updates with the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation supporting quality patient care and regulatory compliance

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in Iowa
