Building flexibility and strong time-management skills can help presenters handle last-minute changes and maintain a professional on-air presence.

What is a part time presenter?

Part time presenters are individuals who host or present content for media outlets, events, or organizations on a part-time basis, rather than full-time. Their responsibilities often include engaging audiences, introducing segments, interviewing guests, and delivering information in an engaging manner. Part time presenters may work in radio, television, online media, or live events, and their schedules are typically more flexible compared to full-time presenters. This role is ideal for those seeking a balance between work and other commitments, or for those looking to gain experience in media and communications.

Job description

Mindrift is looking for a highly skilled Presentation Designer to join the Tendem project (**https://tendem.ai/**) and create high-quality presentations for real-world use cases. In this role, you'll apply your expertise in visual communication, information design, and storytelling to create clear, engaging, and professionally designed presentations. This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for creative professionals with hands-on experience in visual communications, information design, and storytelling.

What We Do

The Mindrift platform connects specialists with innovative technology projects. Our mission is to help develop high-quality AI technologies by combining real-world expertise from professionals across the globe with advanced AI development efforts.

About the Role

This is a freelance role for a Tendem project. As a Presentation Designer, you will focus on storytelling and visual hierarchy. We need a specialist who knows how to communicate complex information beautifully, turning raw data and narratives into compelling, highly persuasive slides and one-pagers. You will use tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma to create polished, presentation-ready deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design high-stakes pitch decks and professional one-pagers tailored for specific audiences.
  • Translate complex data into clear visual storytelling with a strong focus on minimalism and precise information hierarchy.
  • Elevate presentations using custom fonts, elegant animations, and perfect visual consistency.
  • Enforce a polished, persuasive, and premium corporate-meets-creative style across all deliverables.
  • Execute formatting quality standards through meticulous validation of visual alignment, pacing, and brand adherence before final delivery.

How to get started

Apply, pass qualification(s), and start contributing to projects aligned with your expertise - on your own schedule.

Educational qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is desirable.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative fields is a plus.

Academic and/or Professional Experience

Candidates must have a strong portfolio featuring high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization (not just basic templates). We are looking for specialists who have a deep understanding of pacing, storytelling, and information design. A methodical, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently to transform complex narratives into premium visuals are essential.

Technical Skills (Essential)

  • Presentation software: Expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, etc., for building complex, dynamic, and perfectly animated decks.
  • Design tools: Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma to create custom graphics and layouts.
  • Data & information design: Ability to translate complex data and multi-level hierarchical structures into clear, minimalist visual storytelling.
  • Typography & animation: Advanced skills in working with custom fonts and smooth, elegant animations for premium deliverables.

Additional requirements

  • Hands-on experience creating high-end, premium corporate-meets-creative style layouts.
  • Strong attention to detail and absolute commitment to visual perfectness.
  • Self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot design challenges independently.
  • English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above (required)
  • Your CV must include a link to your portfolio featuring high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization. Applications without a portfolio link, or without relevant presentation cases, will not be considered.

Project time expectations

For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10-20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active.

Compensation

On this project, contributors can earn up to $50 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution.

Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise. Please note that other projects on the platform may offer different earning levels based on their requirements.
