Location: Cupertino, CA
Employment Type: Part-time
Schedule: Flexible ; 20-30 hours per week ( Weekend availability required )
Compensation: $40-$70 per teaching hour and $20-$22 per non-teaching hour, plus performance-based incentives
About the Role
At Think Academy, we believe every child deserves a joyful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate introduction to English and early literacy.
As an ELA Teacher, you will help preschool and early-elementary students develop foundational language and literacy skills while building their curiosity and confidence. You will create a warm, interactive learning environment and collaborate closely with parents, fellow teachers, and campus staff to support each child's development.
This role is ideal for an experienced educator who understands how young children learn, enjoys working with early learners, and is passionate about delivering engaging, age-appropriate instruction.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Instruction and Curriculum Delivery
  • Deliver engaging, English and early-literacy lessons to students ages 3-6.
  • Teach phonics, vocabulary, storytelling, reading comprehension, and foundational writing skills.
  • Use songs, games, movement, and hands-on activities to create an interactive learning experience.
  • Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet students' developmental needs and learning styles.
  • Prepare lesson materials and complete other teaching-related responsibilities as assigned.
Student Assessment and Progress Tracking
