Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Tech
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for providing day to day maintenance operations of commercial properties, ensuring all building systems and infrastructure are functioning efficiently and safely. This role includes hands-on maintenance work. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Newspapers – from sidewalk amp; lobbies to mail room area
  • Unlock revolving doors
  • Blow leaves/litter from stairs and garages
  • Sweep/Blow/Power wash building entryways amp; patio
  • Clean amp; maintain patio – wipe down tables amp; chairs, raise amp; lower umbrellas, sweep area.
  • Respond to tenant requests for lights, doors, appliances, etc.
  • Police garage, parking garage stairwells, loading docks/dumpster areas, grounds around the buildings, amp; highway frontage.
  • Ensure all electrical closets, janitor closets, roof access, building storage, and loading docks are secure and all hazards are removed.
  • Only ladders, carts, and light bulbs are allowed in electrical closets. Remove all other items.
  • Clean tops of breaker panels and ensure all panels are closed
  • Ensure all walkways and corridors are free of obstacles and ADA compliant.
  • Grounds maintenance, power washing and minor plumbing as needed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or facilities maintenance preferred.
  • Experience in commercial property maintenance,
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems and general maintenance practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Successful Background and Drug Test Results
