Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Avidd Community Services of New Jersey, Inc.
Locations: Counties Bergen, Morris, Warren and Somerset
Pay: $17.50–$20.50 per hour 
Schedule: Part-time, Per Diem, Weekends
Job Summary:
Avidd Community Services of NJ is seeking caring and reliable Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. DSPs help individuals build independence, learn daily living skills, and lead meaningful lives.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living skills (personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry).
  • Support individuals during medical appointments and community activities.
  • Administer medications.
  • Maintain a safe, clean home environment.
  • Complete documentation in Therap each shift.
  • Provide First Aid/CPR when needed.
  • Promote dignity, respect, and independence.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Must pass required background checks, drug screening, physical/PPD, and training.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals with disabilities.
