Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Massage Therapist to provide therapeutic, recovery-focused bodywork that supports musculoskeletal health, stress reduction, recovery, lymphatic health, and overall wellbeing. This is a part-time or per diem position ideal for a highly skilled, self-motivated clinician who thrives in a high-end, collaborative, and clinically sophisticated environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized therapeutic bodywork based on individual goals, symptoms, and clinical recommendations
- Deliver treatments including myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, cupping therapy, gua sha, manual lymphatic drainage
- Therapeutic and recovery-focused massage techniques
- Assess movement restrictions, fascial tension, posture, recovery needs, and areas of dysfunction to tailor treatment plans
- Collaborate with clinical providers, exercise physiology, and wellness teams to support personalized care plans
- Document treatment notes and relevant observations in a clear, professional manner
- Educate clients on recovery, mobility, body awareness, and supportive self-care strategies
- Maintain treatment room standards and contribute to an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
- Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in New York State required
- Strong experience in therapeutic/clinical massage and soft tissue recovery work
- Hands-on expertise in myofascial release, pre- and post- natal massage, craniosacral therapy, cupping, gua sha, and lymphatic drainage required
- Experience working with recovery, pain management, postural dysfunction, wellness, sports recovery, or longevity populations preferred
- Comfortable working in a high-end, collaborative, clinical environment
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and warm bedside manner
- Experience or training in Eastern medicine modalities is a plus
