Description
We are actively seeking Certified Experienced Group Fitness Instructors to add to our talented, diverse teaching staff, especially TRXโ€ข , Kettlebell, Barre, Spinningโ€ข and general fitness instructors. Our group classes are intimate, providing clients with individual feedback along with the motivational dynamic of a group setting. Our teachers joyfully embrace the opportunity to be part of such a positive component of people's lives and proudly represent Evolutions brand of sophisticated training that is client focused, effective, and meaningful.
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Provide safe, effective group fitness experience for clients
  • Demonstrate and promote proper knowledge of group fitness components i.e. warm-up, strength training, cardio, flexibility, core, warm down etc.
  • Provide friendly customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of studios and equipment
  • Maintain status with certifications and continuing education
  • Assist and participate in special club and community events
  • Enforce and support Program and Facility Policies
  • Attend staff and department meetings as scheduled
  • Represent Evolutions mission and vision

Position Requirements
Desired Qualifications
  • National fitness certification (ACE, ACSM, AFAA or equivalent)
  • Ability to conduct safe and effective classes
  • Prior experience teaching/leading group classes
  • Knowledgeable in techniques and dynamics of Group Fitness
  • Knowledge in a variety of Group Fitness classes
  • Have current certification(s) for specific class format, including adult CPR/AED
  • Able to work a minimum number of hours/week (recommended 2 classes) on a set schedule
  • Knowledge of strength training and cardiovascular exercise
