JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Materials Science and Engineering is seeking applicants for part-time job of part-time research support.
Job duties to include:
- synthesizing polymer materials
- measure the dielectric properties
- functionalize polymers with polar substituents and measure the dielectric properties of the materials using dielectric relaxation spectroscopy
Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
- data management and computer-based data analysis skills
- experience in organic and polymer synthesis
- strong communication skills to support collaborative work
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $25/hr.
