Course Description:
Cours de francais langue seconde associe a un cours de 3 credits dans une discipline donnee (POL 1501), suivi en francais par des etudiants non francophones. L'objectif est de developper les capacites de comprehension en langue seconde (ecoute et lecture) et d'aider l'etudiant a bien assimiler la matiere de la discipline. Les reponses aux questions d'examen peuvent etre soumises en anglais ou en francais dans le cours disciplinaire, en francais seulement dans le cours de langue.
En plus d'enseigner le cours de langue, le professeur FLS doit suivre le cours de discipline:

Requirements:
Maitrise en didactique du francais langue seconde ou dans un domaine pertinent a l'enseignement du francais langue seconde. Deux ans d'experience de l'enseignement du FLS au niveau universitaire, ou equivalent. Familiarite avec des logiciels et la technologie pertinente pour l'enseignement des cours de francais langue seconde. Connaissance de la pedagogie d'immersion demontree par le CV. Tout professeur ayant enseigne un cours FLS/ESL a l'ILOB avant le 1er janvier 2018 est considere comme repondant a l'exigence de diplome.
