Job description

Description:

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to diagnose and treat patients with new or existing Vein conditions, such as Venous Insufficiency, Varicose Veins, and Spider Veins. The job description of a NP/PA includes conducting and documenting comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations based on age and diagnosis. This position requires regular travel between our clinic locations in Des Plaines, IL and Lemont, IL. The selected candidate must be available to work at both locations on a weekly basis as business needs. This position may be filled on either a full-time or part-time basis. Benefits are available only to eligible full-time employees.


  • Effectively manage a daily clinic load of 15-20 patients.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in technical/procedural skills, as appropriate based on specialty and training.
  • Facilitate/participate in quality related initiatives through planned group processes, workshops, seminars, and staff meetings, to improve clinical and system practice performance.
  • Assist in outreach efforts to stimulate clinic growth and support the practices of mission of future expansion.
  • Collaborates in research projects and routinely applies evidence based best practices to patient care.
  • Experience in Vascular Medicine is preferred but not required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Required)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program.
  • Physician assistants need a bachelor's degree and patient care experience.
