Job description

Are you interested in weekend-only PM&R consultations as secondary service? TeamHealth is seeking a compassionate and driven physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to join our post-acute care team in Vineland, New Jersey. This is a part-time opportunity (1-2 weekends per month) rounding in an inpatient rehab facility, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $69,000 - $83,000 annually and no cap on productivity income potential.
In this role, you'll provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families. You will have an opportunity to deliver exceptional care during life's pivotal moments.
Our comprehensive clinical and operational leadership team will support your transition into our medical practice with a comprehensive 3-month onboarding program along with a dedicated clinical field mentor and support from industry leading clinical experts in post-acute medicine. Growth and leadership opportunities within this market are available as well.
Some modules in our Medical Director Leadership Academy (MDLA) will position you for success in quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with the facility leadership as a valued partner of the team. Medical directorship opportunities could provide a significant increase to your income. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive PM&R-focused evaluations, including functional assessments and physical exams
  • Develop and manage individualized rehabilitation plans to restore function and maximize independence
  • Monitor functional progress and adjust treatment plans to support recovery goals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab teams, including therapy and nursing staff
  • Educate patients and families on recovery expectations, mobility, and long-term function
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications
  • Current physician license (State of New Jersey) and DEA
  • Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply
  • Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
