Pay Rate: $24.65 /HR
Shift: 1st Shift, M,W,F

The Sonoco Apprenticeship Program partnered with Calhoun Community College will give you hands-on career experience in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. You'll gain exposure to senior leadership as well as mentors who are passionate about their work and want to help develop you into a future leader of this great company. Our goal is to provide you with valuable work experience in a fun atmosphere where you can learn and grow. We have positions available in several areas of the business including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain/Operations, Quality Control, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, Sales, Environmental Health & Safety, Purchasing and more!
What You'll Be Doing:
Gain exposure to various areas of our business through rotational assignments
Participate in team meetings and contribute to projects
Conduct presentations and lead discussions
Network with leaders throughout the organization
Learn about Sonoco's culture, history, products, and services
Complete individual projects that support the business
We're looking for someone who can do it all - detail oriented, hands on, excellent communicator, analytical thinker, self-motivated, eager to learn new skills, willing to ask questions, works well in teams and independently, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and has good time management skills. If you are ready to take initiative and make an impact, we'd like to talk to you!
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited university or college pursuing a degree in Process Technology
Available to work part-time in between class days
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrates teamwork, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
Computer proficiency required (Microsoft Office Suite)
Able to use relevant computer programs to analyze data and create documents
