JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing a quality learning experience for Marymount University students on a semester basis.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teach designated courses and must be committed to program development and monitoring course content, course implementation, and clinical experiences.
  • Maintains appropriate office hours and advises students on program requirements as well as professional development/career opportunities.
  • Building department program; enhancing student engagement and community outreach; participating in departmental assessment and faculty governance.

OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Master's degree at minimum; PhD degree in related field preferred for graduate teaching.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of teaching experience and/or professional experience in related discipline; experience in student advising and teaching pre-service teachers in a university setting.
