The position of CIS Instructor is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on an as needed, on-going basis.

As a Part-Time CIS Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching both college transfer and professional technical computer courses. Required Qualifications:
  • Commensurate with State of Oregon requirements of respective academic and/or technical field:
    1. Associate degree in the field with a strong computer emphasis from an accredited college or university or the equivalent
    2. At least 3 years of experience
Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications:
  • Three years community college teaching experience
  • Five years of verifiable experience related to the field.
  • Online instruction experiences preferred; classroom teaching experience desirable.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred for CTE faculty.
  • Knowledge of common programming languages, business application software, modern operating systems, networks, systems analysis
