Job description

THE ROLE: OnCall/Part-Time Assistant Stylist

 

We're looking for...

This is an ideal position for someone interested in e-commerce, fashion, styling, or studio production. The Assistant Stylist I works closely with the Operations, Styling, Photography, and Features teams to ensure merchandise is accurately tracked, prepared, organized, and cared for throughout the photography production process.

In addition to styling support, this role assists with key sample operations tasks that help keep production running smoothly from product preparation through post-production repacking. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The Assistant Stylist I reports directly to the Lead Stylist.  This position is ONSITE.

What You'll Do:

  • Pull, scan, organize, and stage merchandise scheduled for photography
  • Unpack, hang, steam, and prepare women's, men's, and children's apparel for production.
  • Prepare a variety of merchandise for photography, including footwear, handbags, jewelry, fashion accessories, and other product categories.
  • Organize product racks and ensure merchandise is delivered to the appropriate studio locations and photography sets.
  • Identify product, tagging, or tracking issues and communicate them to the appropriate producer for correction.
  • Maintain vendor packaging, SKU tags, apparel tags, and other product components throughout the production process.
  • Support stylists with product preparation, set organization, and other daily production needs.
  • Repackage merchandise following production as needed, including reattaching tags, folding garments, and returning products to the appropriate
  • Learn and follow new processes as needed to support workflow, productivity, and changing business needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.

  • Previous merchandising, retail, apparel, studio, or fashion styling experience is

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing production
  • Ability to stand and remain active for up to approximately eight
  • Ability to safely lift and move parcels weighing up to 25

Availability to work part-time hours between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Expected Salary Range: $17hr
