Job description

IVI RMA North America is looking for a Part-Time Phlebotomist to work in our new Paramus location opening in the fall. Training will start off in our Englewood location. This is a part-time role working Monday-Friday from 5:30am-11:30am with rotating holidays and weekends.

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.


Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

  • Properly identifies patients.
  • Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
  • Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
  • To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
  • Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
  • Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
  • Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.


Academic Training:

  • Completion of a Phlebotomy Programโ€“ highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).

Position Requirements/Experience:

  • 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required
