These phlebotomists typically work with insurance companies or third-party medical examiners to collect specimens at flexible hours, often traveling to clients' homes or workplaces. The role requires proper certification in phlebotomy and strong interpersonal skills, as well as attention to protocol for labeling and transporting samples. These positions are ideal for those seeking flexible, part-time work in the healthcare field.
