Job description

We are seeking to fill multiple part-time roles with the potential for full-time to join our team!  Positions available include Kennel Tech, Pet Transportation (Facility to MIA Cargo) and Reservation Specialist.  Applicants are able to fill one or all positions as needed/desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Point of sale, check in and check out customers using Gingr Portal
  • Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming of the animals
  • Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
  • Customer Service at facility and/or Miami Airlines and Customs
  • Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment 
  • Walking dogs and cleaning up after them
  • Cleaning and disinfecting the kennels and cages
  • Prepping animal crates for international transportation
  • Washing, drying and folding laundry
  • General housekeeping of animal housing, food prep and laundry areas
  • Help with bathing and grooming tasks

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience in animal care or other related fields (highly preferred, but will train the right candidate)
  • Passion to help and treat animals
  • Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
  • A flexible schedule
  • Physical ability to lift over 50lbs work with dogs and cats of various breeds and sizes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Transportation position must have clean driving record, deals with US Customs
  • M-F 8:00-5:00 pm; Sat 8:00-11:00 am & 4:00-6:00 pm; Sun 8:00-10:00 am & 4:00-6:00 pm
