The City of Kettering Parks Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is recruiting to fill temporary part-time Personal Trainer positions.

The Personal Trainer is responsible for preparing and leading personal training sessions. If you're looking for a supportive environment to use your knowledge of fitness apply online today. Compensation: Pay range is $20.10 to $25.05 per hour

Entry rate is contingent upon candidate's related skills knowledge and abilities. Examples of Duties Prepares and executes personal training plans with patrons of various ages, fitness levels and abilities; Designs workout plan based on individual's fitness goals and needs; Completes orientations with new fitness members Handles concerns of the public in regard to the effect of exercise on the body; Reads and stays informed on latest exercise programs and fads; Keeps the public's welfare in mind at all times; Maintains and submits all required paperwork for training sessions; Responsible for being aware of and enforcing all Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts guidelines; Regular and predictable on-site attendance required; Performs other related duties as required. Typical Qualifications Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people of all ages in regards to physical fitness.

Must be able to work effectively with and maintain a satisfactory working relationship with employees, City officials, and patrons. Must have a current nationally accredited training certification (ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE, CSCS). Must hold a valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
