Are you passionate about pediatric nursing? Join Affirmed Home Care and make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate, one-on-one care to a pediatric client in the comfort of their home.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate opening in Netcong, NJ. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide skilled, one-on-one care for a 4-year-old girl while working alongside a supportive and experienced pediatric clinical team.
Patient Information
  • Age: 4-year-old girl
  • Diagnosis: Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorder, Tracheostomy/Ventilator (T/V), GJ Tube, Nebulizer, Chest Vest, Cough Assist, and Suction
Schedule
  • Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday & Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Pay
  • $45.00 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client's home
  • Monitor the client's health, safety, and overall well-being
  • Administer medications and treatments according to the physician's plan of care
  • Manage and monitor the patient's tracheostomy/ventilator, GJ tube, nebulizer treatments, chest vest therapy, cough assist, and suctioning as needed
  • Accurately document all nursing services provided
  • Collaborate with the family and clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications
  • Active New Jersey RN license
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of pediatric experience in home care or acute care
  • Current BLS certification
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Physical completed within the past 12 months
  • Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months (or chest X-ray completed within the past 5 years)
  • Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
  • Proof of influenza vaccination or an approved medical exemption
