The Registered Respiratory Therapist role within the TriPoint Medical Center offers a unique chance to become part of a dynamic, collaborative interdisciplinary team. This position adds value to patient care and significantly assists individuals with breathing issues.
We currently offer an opportunity for a part time nights , Registered Respiratory Therapist to support newborn and OB patients in our acute care hospital in Concord.

A Brief Overview
The therapist is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision.
What You Will Do

  • Special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.)

Additional Responsibilities
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Qualifications:
Education
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory (Required) or
  • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory (Required)

Work Experience
  • 1+ years Respiratory Therapy (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Preferred)
  • Current RCP Ohio License granted by the Ohio Medical Board (Required)
  • AARC membership within 6 months of hire date (Required)
  • NRP Certified (Neonatal facilities) (Required within 6 Months)

Position Details/Preferred Qualifications
This role is for our special care nursery, women laboring, and infant resuscitation during deliveries. Must have at least 2 years of experience in the NICU and attending deliveries. The schedule is for, (2) 12 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. The primary location is TriPoint Medical Center in Concord, but 25% travel to our main campus in Cleveland (Rainbow Babies & Children's) is required to maintain skills.
