We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Parts Driver to join our team on a part-time basis.Job DetailsSalary: From $16 an hourJob Type: Part TimeLocation: Madison, NJ 07940Job SummaryThe Parts Driver is responsible for picking up and delivering parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. This role involves coordination with various departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining vehicle condition, and supporting the parts and service teams as needed.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily pick-ups and deliveries by communicating with parts manager, wholesale representatives, inventory control, and shipping staff.Check with the body shop each day to determine immediate parts requirements.Deliver parts promptly to the body shop and distribute to the appropriate technicians.Verify that invoices match purchase orders before each pick-up.Confirm payments received correspond with invoices during deliveries.Keep accurate logs of daily deliveries and pick-ups, obtaining recipients' signatures on delivery records.Unload the delivery truck each evening and submit all paperwork, undelivered parts, and returns.Perform basic truck maintenance including refueling, oil checks, cleaning, and ensuring required inspections are completed.Report any major repair or maintenance needs of delivery trucks to the parts manager.Assist in maintaining the professional appearance of the parts department.Support the service department by managing customer vehicle drop-off and pick-up as needed.Help with stocking and posting orders to expedite delivery to technicians and wholesale accounts.Follow all company safety policies and report any accidents immediately to a supervisor or manager.
