Small firm in Central New Jersey looking for a paralegal with experience doing Maximus arbitrations.

Job Type: Part-time/Full Time
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Work Location: Remote
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
โ€ขRespond to and propound written discovery
โ€ขPrepare exhibit binders for mediations, arbitrations and trial
โ€ขTrain and supervise legal assistants
โ€ขMeet regularly with attorneys to review files
โ€ขCalendar all dates with use of calendaring and case management software
โ€ขDraft meet and confer letters
โ€ขSchedule depositions, hearings, defense medical exams
โ€ขStrict compliance with schedule of assigned appointments
โ€ขOrder, review and summarize medical records
โ€ขRetain experts and prepare expert designations
Qualifications:
โ€ขAt least 2 years of civil litigation experience
โ€ขVery well organized
โ€ขGood follow-up
โ€ขStrong communication skills
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or two to four years of related experience and/or training
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet software and word processing software.
